Hanad Ali Jama (Hanad Xikmaawi)
Hanad Ali Jama is the Head of the Production Department at the Office of Media and Communications of the Puntland Parliament.
He is a media and communications professional with seven years of experience in the media industry, with expertise in media production, journalism, digital media, public communication, content development, and web development.
Hanad has built a diverse professional background across government, media, telecommunications, technology, and business. In his current role at the Puntland Parliament, he contributes to the production and management of media content covering parliamentary activities, public affairs, and institutional communications.
In addition to his professional media experience, Hanad has worked as a Freelance Journalist, gaining practical experience in news gathering, reporting, interviewing, content creation, and communicating important stories to the public.
Prior to his current role, he served as Head of Sales at True Cable, where he contributed to business development, client relations, team coordination, and market development.
Hanad began his education at Salahudiin School in Bosaso and later earned a Diploma in Office Management from Golis University, Berbera. He subsequently obtained a Bachelorβs Degree in Computer Science, strengthening his technical, analytical, web development, and managerial skills.
