Hon. MP Awil Hassan Daad is a current member of Puntland Parliament and He is chair of Public Accounts Committee of Puntland Parliament.
Hon. MP. Awil Daad has 32 years’ experience.
He worked had several Institutions such as the. Ministry of defense of Somalia as a Logistics and Transportation officer, he also worked Ministry of interior and local government of Puntland, as well as political and legal adviser, He became Secretary General of the schools Association for formal education (SAFE).
Hon. Awil was Senior Adviser to the Puntland Ministry of Education and Co-founder of Garissa Education Center, he was also Deputy Chief of staff and Director of operations of Puntland Presidency, and Former Chief of staff as same institutions.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in History and Government, another Bachelor degree Political science and international relations he holds master degree of Public administration and Management.
